OBO Honda GL1000 Goldwing -- 1977 Survivor in Great Condition in Downers Grove, IL

I have a Candy Sirius Blue 1977 GL1000 Goldwing that is in very good condition. This is the best GL1000 I have seen in person. The paint and chrome are in excellent condition. The valve covers polish to a shine and the exhaust is original and beautiful. The seat is an original "take-off" from another GL1000 that was hardly used and is also in nearly pristine condition. I added the original Hondaline detachable luggage bags to make this bike a true road warrior (which are also in excellent condition). But, with the turn of a wrench, these bags and brackets come right off and you have a naked wing, like it came from the factory.
The bike has a little over 50,000 miles (and counting). It starts easily and idles well after a proper warm-up. I rebuilt the carbs last year and am still tweaking them, but the bike runs well. The battery is on its second year and seems to be fine. The rear tire has less than 2,000 miles on it and the front probably about the same (it was installed while I bought it). All electricals work including gas gauge, lights, turn signals, horn, fan, etc. The fan switch was converted to manual toggle by a prior owner (not uncommon).
